The Town of Huntington operates the Huntington Area Rapid Transit (HART) bus system. The HART bus system runs 3 routes - from Northport to Walt Whitman Mall, Commack to Cold Spring Harbor and Huntington Village
to Walt Whitman Mall. Weekday service directly to and from the Huntington LIRR station is available at during the peak morning and evening travel times.
Fares: One-way, single ride
- Adult: $1.25
- Student (ages 5-18): $0.75
- Child (thru age 4): Free
- Senior Citizen (age 60+), Individual with disability, Medicare card holders: $0.50
